UI/UX Designer

Aseel’s journey began with a commitment to uplift artisans and underserved communities in Afghanistan and Turkey. We foresee onboarding all 46 underdeveloped countries to the digital economy, paving the way to connect three billion people being excluded from active participation in the digital economy. Aseel remains steadfast in delivering sustainable and innovative ideas that serve a broader audience, yielding a more substantial impact.
Aseel is a technology platform that enables underdeveloped communities onboard the digital economy. The platform has helped fed over half a million people with emergency supplies and supported selling over 10,000 handmade items from underdeveloped economies globally.

Aseel is  looking for a creative and talented UI/UX Designer with a strong focus on design to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for crafting visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience across our digital products. While an understanding of user research methodologies is valuable, this position emphasizes your expertise in design, layout, and visual aesthetics. As a UI/UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create engaging and responsive designs.

Responsibilities

• UI/UX Design: Develop user-centered designs for our web and mobile applications, focusing on intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Visual Design: Create high-quality visuals and graphic elements, including icons, illustrations, and other multimedia elements to enhance user experience and maintain brand consistency.
• Wireframing and Prototyping: Produce wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, and iterate designs based on feedback and user testing.
• Design Guidelines: Develop and maintain design guidelines, ensuring a consistent and cohesive look and feel across all digital platforms.
• Usability Testing: Participate in usability testing sessions to gather insights with a focus on applying feedback to improve visual design and overall user experience.
• Stay Updated: Stay informed about the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, incorporating innovative ideas into design projects.

Requirements

• At least a year of experience in graphic or UI/UX design.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe XD, Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design tools.
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and visual design mockups.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent English language ability.
